Martin Brouillette

Martin Brouillette obtained a bachelor of engineering degree from McGill University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautics from Caltech. After a stint in the aerospace industry in the Los Angeles area and helping out with the shake-down of the GALCIT T5 shock tunnel, in 1991 he joined the Faculty of Engineering at the Universite de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke (Quebec, Canada) where he is currently Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Associate Dean for Stategic Planning. His research interests include gas dynamics and biomedical devices. He has also been particularly active in engineering curriculum development and in the implementation of new pedagogical approaches. He is a member of a number of scientific societies and is a registered professionnal engineer in the province of Quebec.
