Amit Agrawal

Amit Agrawal obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Delaware in August 2002. His Ph.D. dissertation focused on study of a laboratory analogue of cumulus clouds, and statistical properties of vortices and their cores occurring in a turbulent jet. As part of his Ph.D. study he spent one semester at the Delft Institute of Technology, Netherlands applying DNS to the heated jet problem. Amit obtained a B.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur in 1996. He worked for two years at Telco (an automobile company) before joining Delaware. He is interested in a faculty position after a post-doc.
