Fluid Mechanics for a 23000 Atmosphere, 200MW E-Beam Driven Flow for the Duplication of Flight in the Atmosphere at Mach 12

Abstract-
The concept for duplicating hypersonic flight at Mach 12 is discussed, along with the major fluid mechanical (and other) issues which arise. Detailed predictions and recent experiments with 800kW of e-beam power are discussed.
