Jeff Greenough received his B.Sc. in Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 1984 and his M.Sc. (1986) and Ph.D. (1991) from the University of Washington. Since then he has held a staff position at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (1991-1996) and then most recently at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His areas of interest include transitional flows such as mixing layers, shock accelerated interfaces and adaptive numerical methods.
